Jay Rock is fresh off of the release of his latest project, Redemption. The highly anticipated album from Top Dawg Entertainment’s OG was the first he’s released since 2015’s 90059. Fans have been eager to hear what he’s been up to since then. His latest project hailed features from some major names in the game, although he didn’t necessarily need it. While Kendrick Lamar was an obvious feature on the project, Rock also nabbed J. Cole for the project highlight, “OSOM.” Today, the two of them come through with the visuals for the single.
Jay Rock and J. Cole link up for the video for “OSOM.” The cinematic visual opens up with Jay Rock and J. Cole in a hotel room plotting on how they’re going to keep lowkey after involving themselves in a robbery. The video shows the paranoia the two face in days following. The two of them part ways and stay under the radar before they start sensing that someone is following them. Towards the end, Rock and Cole link up before two men with bandanas over their faces approach their vehicle and get their revenge. The video was directed by Dave Free and Jack Begert.
