Check out The Weekend’s Grant Singer-directed video off his latest project.
The Weeknd’s latest drop My Dear Melancholy, has landed him with his third consecutive album on top the charts. Having just dropped off a short film for his single “I Was Never There,” Abel is back with a new visual for his track “Call Out My Name.”
The close to four-minute visual shows Abel walking the lonely road and preaching the lyrics to his song. At one point during the chorus, bats fly out of his mouth and then we’re taken to different locations where we get introduced to a very mysterious, interesting looking character. Check out the video and let us know what you think.
Right after Abel came through with is EP, he sent out a tweet that was just a comma. The lack of context and simplicity led many to believe he must be getting ready to drop something else soon – the same way Nicki Minaj was just tweeting numbers to excite fans on today’s release of two new tracks. Whether Abel drops off more tracks or not, we can expect to see him headline Coachella soon alongside Eminem, Cardi B and Beyonce. If you’re one of many who wasn’t able to snag tickets for the show, Coachella recently announced that they will be live streaming the event on their official YouTube account.
