Verizon and Apple announced an exclusive partnership on Wednesday (Aug. 8), and the news comes with an exciting new offer.
On August 16, all Verizon Unlimited customers can sign up for a free six months of Apple Music. The offer applies to both new and current users of the telecommunications company. Once successfully registered, users can stream songs ad-free using either 4G or WiFi and will also have the ability to download music for offline use. The streaming service works on all current Apple and Android devices.
“This first-of-its-kind offer is just the first step in an exclusive partnership with Apple,” Angie Klein, vice president of marketing for Verizon, said in a statement. “It gives our customers exactly what they want: Apple’s best-in-class music streaming experience, paired with an unlimited plan tailored to them, on the network they deserve.”
Verizon Unlimited plans have three different options, with the basic Go Unlimited plan beginning at $75 for one user and $40 for four lines or more. Customers can sign up for their Apple Music offer at vzw.com.
