This free festival in South Africa has a stacked line-up.
If you happen to find yourself in Johannesburg, South Africa this December then you’re there at the right time since there will be a free festival with a stacked line-up. The Global Citizen’s Mandela 100 festival will be taking place on December 2nd and some of the headlining acts include Beyonce, Jay Z, Pharrell, Wizkid, Usher, Ed Sheeran and more.
Oprah Winfrey is set to deliver a keynote speech on Mandela’s legacy, while Tyler Perry, Naomi Campbel among others are set to serve as hosts.
“Nelson Mandela’s life story is a testament to the power of the human spirit and one man’s ability to change the world by standing up for what he believed in,” Oprah said. “It is one of the great honors of my life to have spent so much time with him, and I look forward to celebrating his courageous life.”
