2018 BET Hip Hop Awards Nominations

The 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards are a recognition ceremony scheduled to be held October 16 at the Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami Beach, Florida. The nominations were announced on September 9, 2018.

The Canadian superstar has dominated the Billboard charts, the radio, streaming services and everything else since the beginning of the year. Now, the rapper is leading the nominations for the 2018 BET Hip Hop Awards.

The 2018 BET Hip Hop Award nominations are finally in and Drizzy Drake is leading the way with eleven nominations including Lyricist Of The Year, MVP Of the Year, Album Of The Year as well as two nominations for Best Hip Hop Video and Single Of The Year categories for “God’s Plan” and “Nice For What.

Cardi B’s Invasion Of Privacy is a contender for album of the year. She follows Drake with ten nominations which include Best Hip Hop Video, Single Of The Year, among others. Cardi took home several awards last year, even though she didn’t have an album to her name at the time. She’s competing with Drake in several categories Childish Gambino is right behind Cardi B with six nominations while Travis Scott and Kendrick Lamar tie with five nominations each.

In addition to Cardi, the Best New Hip Hop Artist nominees include XXXTENTACION, BlocBoy JB, Lil Baby, Rich The Kid and Juice WRLD.
