Lai Mohammed Counters US, Says Every State in Nigeria (Borno Included) safe for Investment

The Minister of Informa­tion and Culture, Alh Lai Mohammed, has said that each Nigerian state is ok for venture and tourism in spite of late report by the U.S.

The priest expressed this while accepting individuals from the Asso­ciation of Tourism Practitioners of Nigeria, who paid him a cour­tesy bring in his office in Abuja on Thursday.

He engaged the Nigerian media to extend a positive picture of the nation as a method for pro­moting tourism advancement in­stead of reverberating the misinforma­tion about across the board unreliability in the nation.

Alh Mohammed encouraged the media to be careful about spreading the falsehood that 20 out of the 36 states in Nigeria are not sheltered, saying each Nigerian state is alright for speculation and tourism.

”On the off chance that they need to advise their peo­ple not to come to Nigeria, we don’t have to help them to spread the news.

”You don’t have to spread news about Nigeria that will hurt venture and tourism,” he said.

Alh Mohammed ordered individuals from the Association to supplement the endeavors of the administration in advancing the great picture of the nation, say­ing discernment administration and forceful advertising are critical to the advancement of tourism in Ni­geria.

“I will say a range which is desperate to tourism and develop­ment. That is the range of mar­keting tourism. We don’t advertise tourism enough in this nation. Tourism is driven by discernment more than by real­ity. What do I mean? Today, nations that are less supplied and quiet than Nigeria… go on CNN and Aljazeera to promote their nations as the nations of peace and strength. We should change the observation and put resources into recognition man­agement,” he said.

He asked pioneers to accomplish more to advance household tourism in Nigeria by spending their vaca­tion in the nation, as pioneers in different climes do.

In his address, the National President of the Association, Kabir Mallam, hailed the min­ister for his exceptional com­mitment to repositioning tour­ism in Nigeria.
